The A.W.A.R.D. Show! 2009
Spring 2009 Season Announced

The A.W.A.R.D. Show! 2009

The A.W.A.R.D. Show! was created in response to a need for a lab-like space in which working dance artists could engage in an open dialogue with the audience about their work.

This year, The A.W.A.R.D. Show! has expanded from an annual series at New York City's Joyce SoHo to take on a multi-city format. Within each of four series—in New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia and Seattle—12 promising contemporary choreographers will present their work.

On the final night, a panel of notable experts from the dance and cultural arts fields in each city, along with the audience, will choose the winner of a cash award of up to $10,000!
