Holidays? It is all about the gifts!

by admin at 6:54 pm

The Joyce offers you not only the gift of amazing dance, but so many more opportunities to make yourself and your loved ones happy during the holidays!

As Rasta Thomas will be rocking The Joyce during this holiday season, we want to make this dance experience all the more festive and trendy for our audiences by offering discounts for a variety of Joyce Theater products. Join us for Rock the Ballet and get special gifts for yourself or your friends:
Receive a Joyce Theater Jacket at the discounted price of $25 (regular price: $30) or a Joyce Theater T-shirt for $10 (regular price: $15) when you purchase two regular priced A section tickets ($59). With the purchase of a pair of B section ticket ($35), enjoy a Joyce Theater t-shirt for $10 (regular price: $15) or a tote bag for $15 (regular price: $20).

The Joyce also gives you the opportunity to share and promote the beauty of dance by buying a gift certificate for any performance during The Joyce Theater Fall/Winter season (pending availability). Contact rjohnson@joyce.org for details and to order your certificate.

Our partner organization Steps on Broadway is offering Gift Certificates that may be used to pay for classes, workshops and special events at Steps or The School at Steps and for merchandise at the Steps En Corps Boutique. The card, with a monetary value of your choice, may be purchased at the front desk at Steps, the boutique or at The School at Steps, by calling 212-874-2410, or visiting www.stepsnyc.com

If you love what you see at The Joyce and appreciate what it does for the dance community in New York, you can show your support every time you purchase your holiday gifts online by choosing iGive. iGive is an online shopping website that facilitates donations to The Joyce every time you shop through their stores – at no extra cost to you.
Here’s how it works:

1. Go to www.igive.com
2. Create an account and choose The Joyce Theater Foundation as your cause
3. Find a-z stores (the “mall”) and click out from their to your favorite retailers. As long as you click to the store from the igive website, the store will donate a percentage of whatever you spend there to The Joyce! Hundreds of stores participate, including amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Macy’s.

*NEWLY ADDED* iGive.com is going to attempt to donate $5,000 in just 24 hours to Joyce Theater Foundation and other causes. For each person who joins iGive using the link below and does just one web search on the iGive site between now and noon Thursday, The Joyce will receive a dollar.

5,000 new members = $5,000. No purchase necessary.

Of course, if you search more (or buy something) you’ll help The Joyce earn even more money. Right now, iGive is donating $.02 per search and a bonus $5 for that first purchase plus the usual percentage.

Keep the mission of The Joyce Theater Foundation alive by giving a special gift this year. Each dollar you give will help provide necessities to our artists and companies such as lighting for performances, staff support, and rehearsal space.
