Director of Programming
Integral to shaping The Joyce Theater’s local and international acclaim, the director of programming works with the executive director to curate and manage the artistic programming at The Joyce Theater. He/she travels extensively to identify the best companies for The Joyce’s stage. The director of programming, in collaboration with the executive director, carefully constructs each Joyce season by selecting dance companies to balance dance genres, styles, and countries of origin. He/she helps choreographers and dance companies develop and share their work with the public and oversees The Joyce's Commissioning program that allocates financial support to help choreographers fund the creation of new dance works.

Marketing Manager, Strategy and Analytics
The Marketing Manager, Strategy and Analytics is responsible for managing all data and ticket sales analysis; using the analysis to develop and propose strategies for the Marketing department and other departments within The Joyce Theater; establishing goals and strategies; performing detailed analysis on single ticket sales, memberships, purchasing trends; and other analyses as needed.

Assistant House Manager
The Assistant House Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of Front-of-House operations during performances.  This includes: supervising the sub-managers, ushers, bartenders, and lobby attendants; maintaining the safety and well-being of all persons in the building and upholding a first-rate level of customer service with all Joyce Theater patrons.

Institutional Giving Manager
The Joyce Theater Foundation seeks an Institutional Giving Manager to serve as part of a three-person institutional giving team and an eight-person Development department. The person in this role will provide core administrative support for The Joyce’s institutional giving fundraising efforts. Additionally, with a primary focus on foundations, this position will provide essential support by researching, writing, and adapting materials for proposals, reports, letters, and electronic solicitations; managing donor fulfillment and recognition plans; and implementing varied strategies to meet and exceed The Joyce’s institutional giving goals.

Development Associate

The Development Associate plays a key role in assisting with the identification, cultivation and stewardship of prospective and current donors through the individual giving pipeline primary within the $50-$500 contribution range.  In addition to supporting the overall workflow, pace and productivity of the department’s individual giving efforts, this position is responsible for the production of direct and electronic mail solicitations as well as the promotion and maintenance of the Friends of The Joyce donor program.  Some evening availability requested throughout The Joyce’s 48-week performance season.

The Joyce Theater Foundation actively seeks highly motivated high school and college students interested in learning the about the behind-the-scene operations of one of the only theaters built by dancers for dance.  The Joyce’s invaluable commitment to artists and audiences extends to cultivating the next generation of arts administrators, marketers, managers, and educators in the field.
