Rental Policies

  • Space at DANY Studios is available for rehearsals, classes, auditions*, workshops*, showings*, etc.*
  • Space at Joyce SoHo is available for performances as well as rehearsals and special events.
  • Rental fees must be paid in full before you are given access to the studio.
  • We accept payment by cash, check or credit card. Checks must be made payable to The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. All major credit/debit cards, including American Express are accepted at DANY Studios and will be accepted at Joyce SoHo in the near future.
  • 100% of payment due when cancellations occur 72 hours or fewer prior to scheduled rehearsal time.
  • In order to be eligible for our non-profit rates, you must have 501(c)3 status or be fiscally sponsored by The Field, New York Foundation for the Arts, New York Live Arts, or Fractured Atlas.
  • Non-profit rates are applicable for rehearsals only; separate rates apply for classes, auditions, workshops, and other bookings.

*Please contact the Studio Operations Manager for information on booking DANY Studios for auditions, workshops and other special projects (i.e. corporate workshops, photo shoots, fashion shows, etc.).
Le Grand Continental
This summer, The Joyce Theater and the River To River Festival will present the U.S. premiere of Le Grand Continental by Montréal-based choreographer Sylvain Émard at the South Street Seaport. This exciting performance event brings together 200+ participants of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds – dancers and non-dancers alike – to perform a contemporary re-imagining of a traditional festive line dance.
