Rental Policies

  • Space at DANY Studios is available for rehearsals, classes, auditions, workshops, showings, etc.
  • Space at Joyce SoHo is available for performances as well as rehearsals and special events.
  • Rental fees must be paid in full before you are given access to the studio.
  • We accept payment by cash, check or credit card. Checks must be made payable to The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. All major credit/debit cards, including American Express are accepted at DANY Studios and will be accepted at Joyce SoHo in the near future.
  • Bookings of 4 hours total or less per day require 72 hours cancelation notice and bookings of 5 hours total or more per day require a one week notice - otherwise, payment is due in full. No Shows are charged for the full amount due.
  • In order to be eligible for our non-profit rates, you must have 501(c)3 status or be fiscally sponsored by The Field, New York Foundation for the Arts, New York Live Arts, or Fractured Atlas.
  • Non-profit rates are applicable for rehearsals only; separate rates apply for classes, auditions, workshops, and other bookings.
