Founded in 2012 by globally renowned dancer/choreographer Danielle Agami, Ate9 is one of the top contemporary dance companies in the world today. Ate9's creative experimental pieces propel dance beyond its traditional confines to spark new ideas in movement and performance art.

Ate9’s imaginative and surprising works born from unique intersections of arts and artists have the power to unite people across diverse social and cultural borders. Valuing the vibrancy and diversity of its Los Angeles home base, Ate9 nurtures the unique qualities and potential each dancer brings to the company and the arts landscape.

Agami has been commissioned to create works internationally, including UK, Paris, Iceland and Israel. Ate9 has presented in cities across the United States and is scheduled for its first tour abroad, starting with Japan in 2021.
