The Joyce is thrilled to announce the 2022 guest curator Renae Williams Niles, giving audiences a sneak peek for American Dance Platform’s return to The Joyce stage in 2022.

Since its beginnings, The Joyce Theater's American Dance Platform has been dedicated to the memory of Theodore S. Bartwink of The Harkness Foundation for Dance.  Beloved by the New York City dance community, Ted was Executive Director of The Harkness Foundation for Dance for 45 years and, from 1993 to 2014, was a devoted Joyce Theater Foundation trustee.

A major grant from The Harkness Foundation for Dance has made the American Dance Platform possible since its inaugural weeklong series in January 2016 and for the past five years, which included the promotion of the following 37 dance companies from across the United States.
