Since March 2020, out of necessity, countless choreographers and dance artists have pivoted from developing work for the proscenium stage to creating work for the digital landscape. From works choreographed and performed entirely via Zoom to creating virtual environments for artists to interact with, digital dance has grown exponentially, widening the lens through which artists and audiences connect with the art form.
In this installment of Dancing Dialogues, panelists will delve into the question of what are the next steps for digital dance and is it here to stay.
