Performance Update: Botis Seva | Far From The Norm
In effect Friday, January 14
While vaccine and mask protocols and negative PCR testing continue to allow venues to safely move forward with performances, The Joyce Theater has made the difficult decision to postpone Botis Seva | Far From The Norm from February 8-13, 2022 to a date that has yet to be decided.
This cancellation is a result of the current public health emergency in New York City and is in consideration of the risks of international travel due to the surge of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus.
We apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this causes our ticket holders, however, we trust that audiences will agree that safety must be at the forefront of our return to live performances.
The Joyce is providing current ticket holders to the cancelled performances with the following options:
- Donate your ticket to The Joyce Theater
- Request a refund of your ticket purchase
The Joyce Box Office phone lines are very busy at this time. For the best service, please use this survey to select your choice from the options above. We appreciate your patience in processing these requests.
In these rare and difficult times, we truly appreciate your investment in New York City’s rich arts and culture organizations. As a valued member of our Joyce family, you can understand the financial impact of these changes on our dance community at large. We ask you to consider donating your ticket as support during this time.
As we are monitoring the situation, we will continue to seek guidance and best practices from the appropriate health authorities and communicate any updates to our patrons. Please visit our website for any immediate updates regarding performances.
Thank you for your patience and support, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our Chelsea home soon.
