While vaccine and mask protocols and negative PCR testing continue to allow venues to safely move forward with performances, The Joyce Theater has made the difficult decision to postpone Malpaso Dance Company from January 19-23, 2022 to a date that has yet to be decided.

“Sparklingly present…and remarkably strong” (The New York Times), Cuba’s Malpaso Dance Company returns to New York with its dazzling, classically trained dancers. The program includes woman with water, an intimate work by Mats Ek; Elemental, a spellbinding dance by Robyn Mineko Williams; Stillness in Bloom, the company’s second commissioned work by Aszure Barton, set to music by Ambrose Akinmusire; and Nana Para un Insomnio (Lullaby for Insomnia), a solo by the company's own Dailedys Carrazana.
