April 24—27 The Joyce in Chelsea
American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Studio Company returns to The Joyce with classic works like George Balanchine’s Tarantella and a suite from Don Quixote, as well as several exciting New York premieres, including Ma Cong’s On the First Star of the Night, which recently made its debut in London. As part of ABT’s Women’s Movement to support female choreographers, Claudia Schreier, Gemma Bond, and Stefanie Batten Bland present new ballets alongside a work by former principal dancer Ethan Stiefel.
