Sekou McMiller & Friends

Palladium Nights
Tue Jan 5 - Sun Jan 10

Sekou McMiller is at the forefront of a new movement in Afro Latin Dance, pioneering a body of works that honor the dynamic cultural fusion of Afro Latin, Jazz, and Soul traditions. This January, Sekou McMiller & Friends marks its first Joyce appearance with Palladium Nights, a heart-pounding, joyous, rhythmically infectious celebration of the golden age of Latin dance and music. The latest addition to its repertory series Afro Latin Jazz and Soul Experience, Palladium Nights explores the cultural legacy and enduring artistic influence of New York’s historic Palladium Ballroom and America's Latin craze of the 40's, 50's, and 60's—a movement that became the heartbeat of nightlife, forever changing the landscape of music and dance culture worldwide. Join the fun after the performance with an onstage jam session!
