November 15—20 The Joyce in Chelsea
Garth Fagan Dance at The Joyce: Celebrating 52 years led by the longest running Black Choreographer on Broadway, Garth Fagan! Garth used the dance vocabulary born of Garth Fagan Dance, Fagan Technique, to create the movement that helped build Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway to its towering heights. Over 100 million audience members have become part of one global community he helped create on stage. As a historic Black legacy company, GFD has paved the way for many of our new and very deserving dance companies of color.
Be a part of the legacy, Black excellence, and Global connection. Join us at The Joyce Theater Nov. 15-20. World premieres by living legend Garth Fagan and the award-winning Norwood Pennewell!
