The health and safety of our patrons and staff is of the utmost importance to us at The Joyce. In accordance with governmental recommendations regarding large gatherings, as well as the ongoing disruptions of rehearsal schedules that dance companies are facing, we are cancelling the June 30-July 19, 2020 performances of MOMIX.
The Joyce is providing current ticket holders with the following options:
If we do not hear from you by the scheduled opening on June 30, we will automatically refund your tickets. If you would like to make a donation to the company you were scheduled to see, please request a refund and visit the company's website to make your contribution.
Our Box Office phone lines are very busy at this time. For the best service, please use this survey we created to select your choice from the options above. We appreciate your patience in processing these requests.
In these rare and difficult times, we truly appreciate your investment in New York City’s rich arts and culture organizations. As a valued member of our Joyce family, you can understand the financial impact of these changes on our dance community at large. We ask you to consider donating your ticket as support during this time.
As we are monitoring the situation, we will continue to seek guidance and best practices from the appropriate health authorities and communicate any updates to our patrons. Please visit our website for any immediate updates regarding performances.
Seamlessly blending illusion, acrobatics, magic and whimsy, MOMIX sends audiences flying down the rabbit hole in a new production inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland. Join this dazzling company on a mind-bending adventure, as Alice encounters time-honored characters including the undulating Caterpillar, a lobster quadrille, frenzied White Rabbits, a mad Queen of Hearts, and a variety of other surprises.
Underwriting support for The Joyce’s presentation of MOMIX: ALICE provided by Gregg and Jean Frankel.
To Be Announced. Late seating will be at the discretion of house management and latecomers are not guaranteed they will be seated in their purchased seats.
