Calling all pre-professional dancers. Now is your chance to take class with Trinette Singleton, a dancer with direct lineage to Robert Joffrey! The class will follow the principles taught by Robert Joffrey with emphasis on correct body placement and musicality. Following her performance years, Trinette served as an administrative assistant to Robert Joffrey and later as ballet mistress for The Joffrey Ballet. Did you know Trinette Singleton was the first American dancer to appear on the cover of Time magazine? Cool!

We will begin with a thorough warm-up, incorporating both traditional barre exercises and contemporary ballet sequences that emphasize strength, flexibility, and musicality. The center work includes intricate combinations that enhance artistry and athleticism, allowing dancers to refine their performance quality. As a repetiteur for the Foundation, she teaches the ballets Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino, most recently staging works for ABT Studio Company and Ballet Hispánico and will answer questions about a career in dance.
