BRINDA GUHA is a New York City–based, Bessie-nominated South Asian American artist with roots in the Jersey Shore and Kolkata. Her training spans Kathak, Manipuri, Flamenco, and hybrid contemporary forms. In 2010, she co-founded Kalamandir Dance Company, creating original feature-length works and earning residencies at Dixon Place and Dancewave. Brinda is represented by CESD Talent Agency, directs Kalamandir of NJ, serves on faculty at Ailey Extension, and is a co-founder and lead artist of Soles of Duende. Her work bridges performance, education, and cultural production. As a producer and
curator, she founded Wise Fruit NYC, a seasonal live arts platform honoring the feminine divine and women-led organizations. Brinda is the lead researcher and curator for NCCAkron’s "How People Move People" podcast (Season 4) and works as Senior Producing Coordinator at Dance/NYC. www.brindaguha.com
