Crystal Pite’s acclaimed Solo Echo follows, invoking feelings of winter against a backdrop of steadily whirling snowflakes where music and movement deliver clarity and emotional resonance. The evening culminates with As I Am by Charlotte Ballet’s Resident Choreographer Mthuthuzeli November, a powerful work blending ballet, contemporary, and African storytelling. Together, these works form a dynamic and carefully shaped choreographic arc, reflecting Charlotte Ballet’s distinctive ability to balance intimacy, intensity, and innovation.
