What is the #joycehomeproject?
Known colloquially as New York’s Home for Dance, The Joyce Theater has been involved in a two-year project exploring the concept of home from the perspective of artists and audiences. Our social media campaign titled #joycehomeproject, aims to amplify the voices of artists and arts lovers, creating a shared discourse about the places we feel most creative and at ease.
Who can participate?
#joycehomeproject is open to everyone who loves and supports the arts.
How can I participate?
Please tell us where you feel most at home using our hashtag #joycehomeproject.
Your post can be a personal space that you equate with energy, creativity, inspiration, and feeling most at home. However, the sky has no limit, and your notion of home can relate beyond physical spaces to concepts, ideas, and thoughts.
Where can I share my post?
Take a selfie, create a video, or write your responses and post it on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using #joycehomeproject. Don’t forget to tag us (@thejoycetheater on all platforms) so that we can find you!
When is the latest date I can post?
We ask that you post by Friday, April 26 to conclude the campaign.
