Join Pilobolus in the Park at Chelsea Green Park on Sunday, July 23! Co-presented by The Joyce Theater, Friends of Chelsea Green, and Pilobolus, this FREE community event brings dance and fun to New Yorkers of all ages this summer.

AT 5PM: Join for 45-minute interactive journey designed for families and young audiences to explore Pilobolus’s playful approach to collaborative dance making. Led by Artistic Director Matt Kent, Pilobolus dancers Casey Howes and Jake Warren investigate the creation of and performance of the audience favorite Symbiosis. Come and play with Pilobolus in the Park and participate in the power of playful physical partnering, and then witness it put into practice in the artistry, strength, grace and emotion of Symbiosis.
AT 6:15PM: Join for a 45-minute performance & interactive experience designed for families and older adults. Explore Pilobolus’s playful Connecting with Balance™ techniques for maintaining and improving balance. Led by Artistic Director Matt Kent, Pilobolus dancers Casey Howes and Jake Warren share the secrets of balance required of the world renowned company before sharing a performance of the vintage classic Symbiosis, featured on a TedTalk. Come and play with Pilobolus in the Park and participate in the power of playfully exploring balance, and then witness it put into practice in the artistry, strength, grace and emotion of Symbiosis.
